Ranks
Your rank comes from PVP (Ranked) matches.
The ladder
| Tier | Divisions |
|---|---|
| Bronze | III · II · I |
| Silver | III · II · I |
| Gold | III · II · I |
| Platinum | III · II · I |
| Diamond | III · II · I |
| Mythic | — |
| Mythical Glory | — |
| Mythic Honor | Endless stars |
| KAYAN Legend | The top 10 players on the server |
- Each division has 3 stars. Each star is a 100 RR bar.
- Fill the bar to win a star; win 3 stars to move up a division.
- Mythic Honor has no ceiling: stars keep stacking.
- KAYAN Legend is the top 10. Stars disappear and your exact point total is shown, so every single point counts.
RR per match
- A win gives between 8 and 45 RR, a loss takes between 8 and 45 RR.
- How much depends on your opponents' strength, your chance to win and the match size (bigger matches move RR a bit more).
- A hidden skill rating (MMR) is used to find fair matches. It is separate from your RR.
- Promotion shield: after you reach a new tier, your next 2 losses cannot drop you back below it.
Placement
Your first 5 ranked matches of a season are placement matches. They give no RR. After them you start between Bronze III and Gold depending on how many you won.
Seasons
- At the end of a ranked season your rank resets and everyone plays placement again. Your hidden skill rating moves halfway back to the average, so good players still start higher.
- Season rewards are cosmetics, given by the highest rank you reached in the season.
Leaving and cheaters
- Leaving a match costs 1.5× the normal loss and locks your ranked search. See PVP (Ranked).
- A ban for cheating resets the cheater's season rank, and players who lost to that cheater this season get their RR back.
